Woes of a Graduating Student

All the projects are finally over. I've cleared 3 out of 6 modules for the last semester hopefully with flying colours. Moving into study week, I have 9 days exactly to prepare for 3 papers. Stressful much?

But I'm extremely happy that no more projects anymore. Simple reasons, I need not face moronic team mates anymore. For the past 3 years, I had enough of these people. I can't believe they actually had the cheek to submit those insubstantial and no quality reports.

Where is their sense of shame?

Do they not have any?

Thank you for giving me such shitty reports, thank you for not reading the guidelines properly. Thank you for doing last minute work, thank you for being such a piece of trash. You totally belong to the rubbish dump. So, to those they got screwed by me in the last few projects. I'VE DONE NOTHING WRONG AND YOU TOTALLY DESERVED IT. YOU ASKED FOR IT. I don't give fucking damn care if you talk behind my back or spread rumors about me. You deserved to be fucked by me, shameless morons! You should have kissed my feet and lick my toes to thank me for bringing you those A & B+ grades. I'm the most awesome team mate you can ever have, your gift from god. Get it?!

Back to more neutral topics. University Applications. I couldn't exactly say that I don't have any application plans in mind. I do, but just putting them on hold till I'm done with my final exams. Really not in the mood to talk about it right now.

To be honest, I've never liked people, to be more specific relatives interfering with my academic path, unless if you're pretty close to me, then I wouldn't mind sharing things with you. Because we all know, relatives ask about your academic issues not because they're sincerely concern, but because they're being a busybody and eagerly wants to gossip about you. -.- its true okay, MOST not all, but MOST relatives are like that. Admit it. I hate it. I hate it when they start asking me, give unnecessary opinions or give unpleasant remarks. NOBODY ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION DUDE?! So just be quiet. Stop telling me what to do or what I should do. I was never a indecisive person. I'm clear of what I want and where I should proceed. I'm capable of making my own decisions. I don't need unnecessary comments or worst still, sarcastic remarks.

CNY 2012

I haven't been updating this space for like 2 weeks? Was tied down with all the reports and tests till I have no time for anything except, looking at my notes. Sighs. What a life and more to come.

Anyway, pretty glad that study week doesn't falls on CNY this year, so I need not study my ass out during home visits. To be honest, as I grew older, the festive mood starts to disappear. Home visits becoming boring. All I really did CNY was to just watch Running Man at my relatives house. I don't gamble, don't engage in conversations with the adults, might as well watch Running Man right? The more I watch, the more i like (Y)

It wasn't long ago when I was pretty much looking forward to the festive holidays, but now its over. Time really really just rocketed past me. Come to think of it, semester exams are not far away. It seems to be drawing closer. One thing to be happy about, I only have 3 examnable modules. 3 is enough to study die me. The remaining 3 reports have yet to be submitted. Still in the midst of doing & compiling reports. Stressed max. Somehow really can't wait for graduation.

God. Life sucks. Reports, reports, reports. Tests, tests, tests.

Only thing I'm looking forward to now is CNY. But in order to reach that day, I have to get through all the ICA 2s first. Still, I'm glad to say 2 reports are up for submission and 1 more ready to go. Which means its all left with 2 tests & 1 report. Sighs.. really can't wait for next Friday to arrive. I'll feel more relaxed. At least, for the CNY.

Speaking of CNY, I'm pretty much done with the shopping. Clothes, accessories, nails. Left with my hair, booked for treatment already! Usually, every year, I'm dressed in skirts or dresses but this year will be different. If you realize, the weather every year sucks big time. Its mad hot can? So, I decided to dress down & wear shorts. Heeez. Really can't wait for that 2 days to come uhhh!!!! Because of ICA 2, I already paused Running Man already and everyday I'm fighting the urge to watch cos its so damn freaking funny. And did I mention? Vampire Diaries season 3 is finally finally out. So many many things to watch! Why ICA 2? Why? Why like that? Sometimes in such situations, I kinda hope I already graduated.

Universal Studios Virgin Trip

I've been asked many times by several groups of friends to visit USS, watch the shows, take the rides. I'm fine with visiting the place and watching the shows. But taking the rides ...

It isn't the height that I'm afraid of, neither is the speed. My concept has always been to just scream out & the fears will be gone along with my screams. What am I afraid of is throwing up after the rides. But at the end of the day, I told myself I must visit this place at least once before I depart from this world. & so, I did (:

Was pretty much excited the night before. Barely slept. Excited yet afraid at the same time.

First ride we took was the Transformers. Graphics & sound effect were great. But I didn't really enjoy it. I wasn't really sure of the route inside, so JH took the lead and before I knew, I'm queueing for the red tracks roller coaster already! Totally mentally unprepared. I asked, which is scarier, red or blue one. They replied red.

But still just got on it. Because I see kids so much younger riding it and came back fine from the ride so I presumed I'll turn out fine too right? But, PinRu's Epic Moments began again (: You know people usually scream at certain points either when the roller coaster is heading downwards, taking a huge turn but for me its not case.

I screamed from the start till the end. Continuously.

They couldn't understand why I could actually scream like that. They found my screaming epic & ridiculous. I showed the ridiculous side of me again. Yes, AGAIN. I always does that lah. So for the remaining roller coaster rides, I screamed like this. Alone. Because, THEY WERE BUSY LAUGHING AT ME.

SO RUDE RIGHT?!

But at the end of our first 3 rides, I felt nauseous already and turned pale. It wasn't because of the red & blue roller coasters. It was constant breaking & jerking of the transformer rides that churned my stomach badly. So we took a break, went for lunch and after that watch shows until I finally get better.

Overall, we didn't really take alot of photos. There were like people everywhere, the sun was glaring but rained halfway through. Queue for like an almost an hour for each ride.We did not manage to re-take rides either. I wonder if its because of me? =x

I still find it enjoyable though. Probably probably, will come back again. (:

Thank you guys for being with me at my several first-trips. First trip to Taiwan, first trip to Halloween & first-trip to USS. You all made it all so fun for me. Jas, should have gone, then there's someone to scream with moi . HAHA :D

Alrights, I guess thats the end of my post for USS.

I've been pondering alot lately. Perhaps still not used to the fact that its a brand new year already. 2011 had become past tense. I flashbacks to alot of things. Unhappy moments mostly, don't know why either. But eventually, I made up my mind to several things. I know that I give people the fierce & 'dao' or maybe arrogant first impressions. I don't smile alot, especially not to people I'm that close with, I pull a long face, I stare or glare. I know my habits. You know, you can't make yourself likeable to everyone, but you can instill fear in them. So that they don't try to do anything funny to you. I had my fair share of being hurt by people in the past, so I would not let such a thing happened again. But oh well, I shall just try not to pull a long face anymore okay. I've also mad up my mind that, in this brand new year, I'll completely ignore the people whom I dislike. I will no longer bother to greet you, smile at you or attempt to be nice to you, especially when I tried being nice, you don't reciprocate and be rude. Why make myself look stupid. I should just pretend you're not there, ignore your presence, engage in my own activities. Since you're rude, you don't appreciate my kind gestures, then you'll receive none from now on.

Bidding 2011 Goodbye

2011 has finally drawn to an end. Of course, the entire year I’m still a diploma student studying in NYP. I can’t say 2011 has been exceptionally different, neither can I say it’s the same as the past years. But 2011 hadn’t been an awful year to me, but rather it had been quite and enjoyable one.I flipped back to my past entries to recall all that I’ve went through in 2011. Its yet another year that I’ve gained newfound friendships, tried things for the first time and finally went on an overseas trip.

In the early 2011, I recalled myself going through Internship at Philips Electronics.

I was never fond of changing environments and dread the thought of having to meet new people especially in an office environment. I heard several horror stories of nasty bosses and colleagues but luckily for me I met none of those. Philips’ staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed internship there and was really glad that I was posted to Philips and not anywhere else. Once in awhile I still do recall my internship days and misses it pretty much.

Right after internship, a new semester begins. Headed back to school with an exhausted body I remember having no breaks for 3 consecutive semesters. No joke sia! Adding on to the exhaustion comes stress. Entrepreneurship! My god, first stage of Entrep was terror. Ideas rejected, plans unable to excute, so on and so forth. Total stress and still have to cope with 5 other modules. But! We still managed to made it through eventually. Slacking throughout all tutorials not giving a shit to anything, talk about every topics other than Entrep but eventually still worked hand-in-hand and made it through. Friendship of course blossomed out of it.

The entire semester, stress was of course inevitable, be it the normal tests, individual reports and semester exams, I’m so glad I managed to scrape through and some with flying colours.

My FIRST SHOT at Wii. What was I doing seriously?

After the semester ended, the enjoyable parts starts flowing in. Sem break of 2.5 months! Oh so awesome!

We had a class chalet. Playing stupid yet funny games.

Then the long-awaited Taipei Immersion trip. The highlight of my 2011. Not what I expected but it is truly enjoyable. It was suppose to be a learning trip but of course I didn’t learn anything, I was sleeping away. It was just awesome! (:

Of course I couldn’t waste the 2.5 weeks break and took the chance to boost up my financial status. Work lah! Work has enabled me to met several celebrities like Qi Yu Wu, Joanne Peh, Tay Ping Hui and the oh-so-cute George Young! :DDDD

And of course not forgetting some annoying kiddos -.-lll

And this year I had my FIRST TRY for Halloween. Something I’ve always wanted to do. Sentosa Spooktacular. Not scary lah! In the its FUNNEH! LOL

Aside from that I finally finally pluck up my courage, FIRST TRIP to USS, take the roller coaster rides.

Made it through safely but screamed like nobody’s business. (will blog more soon)

This year surprisingly, I did not really engage myself on watching Kdramas. The entire year I only watched Secret Garden and that’s it. Went to watch Vampire Diaries. It really isn’t any ordinary Vampire love story show, its really really awesome. Words can’t describe how awesome it is, you’ll have to watch then you’ll know. While waiting for season 3 I moved on to Gossip Girl, not bad but its too draggy I think. I gave up eventually. Now Running Man. Hahaha. Y’all seriously should watch Running Man sia, damn freaking hilarious!

Then I don’t understand why either, started to have the hots for Super Junior. Oh wells~

To sum up, was my 2011 happening? Idk? But it wasn’t a bad year to me. I had fun and hopefully 2012 woud be a good one too. Coming to think of it, most of my 2012 would not have NYP as part of it anymore, graduation is drawing really near now. Thus, I guess future seems really unpredictable. Nonetheless, I ‘ll still hope for the best,

To all my friends out there:

Secondary school friends, Yingduan, Pinxuan, Jo & Yuting. Its been the longest time of friendship I had with you, I treasure every single moment we had and hope that I’ll friendship will continue as we grew older.

To my year 1 clique, Peilin, Stella, Kimi & Jesslyn. I’ve never forgotten the fun & laughter we shared in year 1 and never will. Deep down in my heart, y’all will always be there.

To the separated EMRS friends. I can honestly tell you, I still miss EMRS days awfully. I can never ever forget the days in EMRS where we eventually stand as one. It was the best period of my poly life.

A year had passed, I’ve grown a year older. One thing I came to realized is that people come and people go. And to those that have stayed, I'm so glad you're still here.

New Year resolutions?
I want to really stop my endless worries of the future and make the best out of the present. Life is short and I already lived 2 decades of it. Prolly only had 6 more left, considering the average life span. So I shall try my best to live everyday to the fullest.
& of course among the fun and laughter still looms abit of sadness, disappointments and even frustration. I shall just let bygones be bygones. Learn to forgive and forget.

Can I also say, I want bigger eyes, smaller nose & slimmer thighs ? HAHA :P

You know when people used to ask me, what kind of guys do I like. Looks, personality etc. I always tell them, I don't exactly go for looks when it comes to finding the right one, although I admire good-looking idols alot. But recently, it suddenly dawned upon me, that I'm attracted to a certain kind of guy.

Pretty boys.

Yea, I'm pretty much attracted to pretty boys/flower boys. Not because I've been watching too much of korean shows, but its really a fact. I'm really attracted to pretty boys. & the guys that I usually find good-looking on the streets are also pretty boys. Pretty boys usually, they have abit of a girl's feature and smooth skin, rather fair skin, not necessary small-build and they usually have big beautiful mesmerizing eyes and their smiles are so sunshine. Yea, I'm attracted to guys with big eyes. Actually, I'm attracted to people with big eyes. Pretty boys are usually, gentle and charming but I prefer those cute ones. Yah, it all boils back to having big eyes. You usually need big eyes to be cute and expressive in your cuteness. As for personality wise, I think humor is important, I need someone with the same frequency of humour as me. I'm pretty dumb so I need someone smart, I do look upon the acamdemically-smart kind too. I'm tall.. so 175cm and above?

YingDuan Joined the 2s Club

We celebrated YingDuan’s 20^th on Monday. Epic Failure.

Original plan was to camp downstairs her house with a pizza without her knowing & surprise her. But on the actual day just as I had ordered the pizza, I received a call from Xuan saying that she won’t be heading home but instead heading to Nex for dinner with the friend instead. Omfg! O.o

I’m like seriously~? How sia~?

I was totally panicking and my brain seriously couldn’t think of any solution. But luckily Xuan knows that friend she’s meeting & so… we colluded with him (:

Plans immediately changed, headed for Nex Mall.

We managed to got the friend to get her linger around Rockery before we appeared. Her friend, pretty awesome managed to drag for time. Managed to really surprise her in the end, so not that much of an epic fail after all right?

Running Man.

Highly recommended by JH. He's been talking about it everyday, saying how hilarious this show is. Other friends also briefly mentioned saying its super funny. So after much persuasion by him, I decided to watch this term break.

Oh My Goodness.

I seriously LAUGHED MY ASS OUT.

Its not a drama, in case you're wondering. Its a korean variety gameshow. I was never a fan of variety shows. Just not my cup of tea. But this is seriously damn freaking hilarious. I laughed till my cheeks are sore & tummy hurts. They play different games in different placed in every episode. And there are guest stars in every episodes, including C.N Blue's Yong Hwa<333, Kim Hyun Joong <333, 2PM Nickhun <333, Super Junior's Hee Chul & Siwon <333, SNSD Jessica, Sunny and many many other celebrities. Why my Sungmin no in leh? Guest stars aside, the main players of the game, Song Ji Hyo, pretty boy Joong Ki, Kang Gary, Gwang Soo are those that made the show fun and interesting. Omo, 8 episodes of it and I'm like dying to play the games can??? Its like so damn fun lah. The games are like so creative. ^^

Highly recommended to watch especially if you feel stressed out. Because it makes you LOL like nobody's business. Episodes can be found in Funshion with mandrin subtitles. For english, here's the link.

Sunshine after Rain

In a blink of an eye. Its term break already. Well technically, another term for it is "Project Week". It means I'm half done with this semester and only left with a remaining half. Graduation is really drawing alot closer. Last semester. I thought it was a horror because of Entrepreneur. But after the first brainstorming stage had passed, everything went pretty smoothly. We may not have done it fantastically well, but somewhat it became enjoyable in the end. Besides, I made a bunch of pretty awesome friends at the end of it.

This semester. Another horrifying module. International Business. Its the first project I shed tears for & it isn't really because of stress. It isn't a module issue. More of a disappointing people-issue. Don't wanna elaborate on that. What I seriously hope is that I can safely tide through and clear this module. Its been 5 semesters. Each & every semester. I'm sure to meet people that provide work that are really insubstantial. Meaning, insufficient research resulting in low quality reports or plagiarism from sample reports & internet sources and some just crap their way through, not even bothering to research or copy. I mean, seriously? 3 years of tertiary education as a Business Student, is this really what you should do for a report? Not ashamed? Not disgraceful? Really? Business Student? Confirm? You don't feel paiseh when I actually have delete your entire part and re-edit every single sentence and word? I don't tolerate last-minutes, I can't accept insufficient research, I don't like it when you can't juggle your work & personal life properly, I hate it when your work is done out of rush. Maybe's its me who've had too high expectations, maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist when it comes to work. Maybe. But since you're doing it why not be more serious about it & give your best?

Past semesters I tolerated them. I edited, re-do & reform and just let things passed as it is cos afterall we're classmates and still need to see each other everyday. I decided not to be calculative. But sometimes, its really tiring having to look at such trash all the time and having to clear up the mess all the time. I'm also a ordinary student like anyone else in campus, not Superwoman. Last semester. I'm honestly sick and tired of tolerating such people. It really doesn't pay to be kind, they just climb over your head, take advantage of you. I guess, I'm pretty done with putting in effort to tolerate such nonsense and crap just to maintain cordial relationships. I guess its time to be harsh. Its time to knock some sense into those people.

I've had enough.

Remaining days in campus are not much anymore. I really want to cherish and enjoy it. Because I know, once I'm out of it, I'm going to miss it a whole lot. So I'm going to constantly remind myself, not matter how stressful it is, how bad the times are, I will still enjoy every single remaining day and cherish it greatly. I manage to tide through the past 5 sems. I will too for this last one right? I'm always glad that in these stormy loomy periods, I always have friends that are always selflessly trying their best to help me and encouraged me. I wouldn't have done it without all of you (:

Yea, I kinda abandoned this space for awhile. I'm so sorry. But I don't think anyone really check this space regularly right? Haha.

Now that school has started, its the usual routine. Timetable suck balls. So many 2, 3 hour breaks here and there. Damn annoying. ICAs, reports so on and so forth. I've been ranting for like 3 semesters, you should know luh.

Anyways ...

Lectures and tutorials gets pretty dry sometimes. So, no harm having some camera fun as and when right? :)

Met up with Tay & Rena for dinner. Did some catching up. Long time no dinner alreadyzzzz. Tay busy with boyf, Rena busy with actually nothing haha, and me busy with school lor what else right? But still its nice to meet up only once in awhile. Absence makes the heart fonder <333

I caught 2 movies ever since school re-opened. Funny right? During holidays didn't really have chance to watch, school reopen like so many movies to watch. Friday gonna go for Breaking Dawn. I caught 23:59 and You're the Apple of my eye. 23:59 was a little scary, funny but also lame. Apple of the eye was like totally awesome? Yea, me likes! :D I've really lose interest in Twilight ever since Vampire Diaries, because I can totally swear Vampire Diaries is way way WAY awesome than Twilight. No kidding! But still, since I've watched till Eclipse already, might as well finish the whole thing right? :)

Because I also don't know why! I really don't know what the sudden craze for them. I also don't know why so long after their debut then the craze came over me. I have no idea honestly.

But probably because, CW went on mid-season hiatus, so Vampire Diaries stopped at episode 9 and the rest of it will only return 5th Jan. WTS right? Rest of CW dramas like Gossip Girls etc are all on hiatus till next year. So I went to find new sources of entertainment and ended up with Super Junior.

So the 13 turned 11 boys swept me off my feet, stole my heart.

Yah luh, I know my heart has been stolen don't know how many times by so many celebrities already, worthless already right? LOL.

But 13 of them surely, I have a favourite one right?

I'm quite surprised myself that I actually liked him best. I usually prefer pretty boys, 花美男. Like, Kim Hyun Joong or Jung Yong hwa Kind. So by rights, I should prefer Suju's Donghae leh. But as I watched them, I started to notice Sungmin. I'm like why this fella so cute and innocent one sia?! How can anyone be so adorable? His actions his words his expressions are so adorable, like a little boy. Too cute to resist.

Guys that act cute are usually disgusting, but for Sungmin, it just gets even cuter! Omg lahs!

From this I conclude I like guys with big eyes. Mesmerizing. A simple reason why I wear double lid tapes also. I want bigger eyes.

When school gets tough and things gets depressing, I tell myself to hang on. But from time to time I wonder if I really can.

It was a rather belated celebration, like 4 days after her birthday had passed.

Yea..we're all sick of birthday cakes from all the September & October babies, so I think its nice to have cupcakes for a change right? As usual, Icing Room. Where else got such pretty pastries right? :D

Simple celebration & lunch fare at Naked Fish right outside school. Nothing fancy, but we had fun catching up. (:

Its the 3rd week of school already. Starting to get busy. IB has been.... well don't wanna talk about it.

Halloween: Sentosa Spooktacular 2011

Every year approaching end October, I've always very much wanted to take part in Halloween events. Especially the Night Safari one. But most years its either I forgot & missed it or there's no one to go with me. This year I decided to ask around amongst all my friends hoping that there will be someone to accompany me there. & so my SUPER STEADY Taiwan clique says OK! Steady pom pipi arh! I'm like so elated!

Its a pity though that Night Safari no longer has Halloween Events. So we were deciding between Fright Fest at SG Flyer & Sentosa Spooktacular. If you're wondering why not USS Horror Nights, umm not yet. We shall go for the milder one first. Test out our courage before conquering Horror Nights. Because, if you've watched the news, Horror Nights at USS seemed pretty scary.

& so we decided on Sentosa Spooktacular of Asian Horror on 29th Oct.

There were a total of 6 haunted house trails in Spooktacular. We bought tickets for 3 trails. Jh, Huimin, Aaron, Isaac & I were supposed to be there. But Jas had a last minute emergency & had to skipped. Aww... :/ but its okay we have next year yep? :D

Ended work earlier that day & met up with Jh, Hui & Isaac at Vivo.

We took the tram together with these people & alighted at Imbiah Station.

Imbiah is actually where the Merlion is. & that night, Merlion looks haunted too along with creepy sound effects of shrills, laughter & hauntings. :/

Other than the people who came for the haunted trails, there were also ghost minglers that walk around among the people to scare them or chase them.

As we watched the people & ghost minglers, we started to feel excited & scared at the same time. All of this was suppose to be scary. SUPPOSE.

You'll know why as you read on. (:

First one we saw is the ghostly Chinese bride. She looks at you, stares at you with here dead expression. Seems rather creepy & we could only watched people take photos with her. We dared not approach her until .... our dear Jinhao went to ask her WHERE'S THE TOILET.

Quite funny actually, the ghost must have feel really pek cek at him .

Then there's this one. A idk malay or indian ghost. From far we thought it was a she but when come closer, I was like why this She so muscular one. Then I realised, its a He. He was shrieking all the way, chasing after those than came close to him & cornering some girls. Many were chased, one got cornered. It was quite funny to see them running away from him. Heez.

Once he's here, we proceeded to our first station.

PAPA CANNIBAL.

It was a long queue. Omg. We queue for like around 2 hours?

During the queue there were other ghost minglers coming to scare us. Some people really got scared, as the ghost minglers with that horror makeup and vicious stare is quite scary. No joke!

Before the trail, we're briefed not to touch the ghosts in disguised & similarly they will not touch us. So of course, I can't punch them out of fright even if I wanted to. Else, I will be banned from future Halloween events. No photo-taking & videoing allowed in the haunted house either. Aaron is so mean. He wanted us 2 girls to take the lead! How to sia? As we get closer to our turn, the more nervous we become.

So PAPA CANNIBAL actually takes place in the 4D ride theatre. When we first step in, it was Aaron & Hui in front, then me, Isaac & JH. Obviously it was dark, then streaks of light were light flashing here & there, you couldn't exactly make out what is inside, sometimes you can see, sometimes you can't see. But I seemed to see abit of shadows looming in the darkness. Then as we walked my bag got caught in the railing & I seem to see a shadow approaching. So I had my epic moment again, I was like shouting " WAIT WAIT WAIT! MY BAG STUCK! WAIT! " Stupid? Yes I know. Eventually, along the way, it became, Isaac & JH leading the trail & the 3 of us behind. So the ghosts in disguised would just popped out anytime to scream at you. And apparently, I screamed back. We're all trying to get out asap.

So basically after the first trail we sort of know what to expect for the remaining trails. The ghosts do not attack the one in lead, they attack those in the middle, so more people will be frightened. Clever right they?

The second trail is RUMAH GILAH. Its a haunted mental hospital.

While queuing we spotted the shrieking ghost mingler again. This time, perhaps he's high, he's dancing to the music at the cafe! Really dancing & shuffling. Everyone there was cheering for him. He dances quite well, probably a frequent clubber in real life. I find him quite cool eh! Haha!

While we queue, we'll definitely camwhore. Cos nothing to do but wait mahhs. The queue for the second trail was not that long, waiting time about 20 minutes before our turn.

Inside was again, dark, smoky, streaks of light flashing, can't really see. Heads & hands popping out of nowhere to scare us. As JH was leading he could agar agar anticipated or kinda see where are the ghost hideouts and exposed them. So we're kinda mentally prepared when they will popped out & not that scared anymore. I think the ghosts are pretty sian diao. Haha. There were also several fake limbs on the floor. JH picked one of it up & then fling it off to donoe where sia! LOL? Along the way the boys also said several stupid things to dee-siao & guai lan the ghosts, so did I, a little. Anything scary eventually turned out hilarious.

Last stop, LEGENDARY COURTS OF HELL.

Waiting time even shorter this time, approximately 10 minutes or less?

This last trail was the longest. Before we started the trail, we had to go through a fake funeral ritual, walked around a fake coffin lead by a ghostly priest. This took place at the wax museum. Before we enter, the usher told us that this place died many military soldiers before, so there might be some ghosts might just be real. Idk if he's trying to frighten us or what? He also said that if we're too afraid to continue, just stood down and raise our hands & the ghosts won't touch us. The boys being boys, kept raising their hands unnecessarily. The inside of the trail was almost hell-like.Very smoky, green, red glows & tombstones everywhere. Almost went the wrong directions. Made it out safely in the end of course!

Overall, it was a really fun-filled night. I'm so happy that I went for this! I did not dressed up as ghosts or anything. Some people did. So maybe one day, I will! I guess I really did go with the right clique for Halloween. Anything scary eventually turned 100% hilarious. The full story is not entirely here, there are several more funny incidents better heard verbally. Hahaha. I really enjoyed myself.

20th Birthday Scoop

Ever since my 17th, my birthdays are celebrated with friends. My 19th was a big blast last year! I had 6 rounds of celebrations! Not showing off that I have many friends, but just speaking the truth. This year, not that much of a big blast but still a blast. I celebrated 5 times.

First one was really early, on the 9th of Oct with Cheers team. If you've been reading, you should prolly know who by know, Jaslyn, Cleon, Lydia & Huiqing. Lydia, born on the same day as me but one year younger, so we celebrate together.

Had my home-made birthday cake this year for the very first time. Marble cake & Jelly Hearts Credits to Jaslyn!

It was hanging out at Scoopz, catching up, had dinner then headed home. Yes, Cleon paid for my dessert. Never fails to remind me!

Second one was with the BC Taiwan Clique on 12th Oct in Town.

Celebrating together with Jinhao born on 15th, Jasmine 16th & me 17th :D

What a coincidence right? 3 consecutive days

We dined at T.G.I.F first, together with Huimin, Isaac & Aaron too. QF left early. Huimin & Aaron acted all suspiciously throughout dinner though we already knew its our celebration, don't know what they're suspicious about until after dinner.

End of dinner, we're all extremely full. But Aaron acting like a kid wanting to go for Swensens' ice-cream, kinda unlike him, but we just went along...

& so, this was the surprise. Our Ice-cream birthday cake. Its been many years since I last had a ice-cream cake for my birthday. So I was rather happy to see the cake, though I can't eat too much cold food ^^

3rd one. With EMRS Team 4.5, 13 Oct.

As usual, dinner first. Dined at MOF. That was my first time at MOF, OMG! I have to rave about this! I didn't expect their food to be so fabulous. Other than the usual Jap buffet restaurants I go to, I think MOF is the Jap restaurant I like most. I think its even better than Ichiban lah! So dying to go back again! ^^

& so they're sick of cakes so get a single slice for me instead. (:

Then they suggested we go prawning at Bishan. I've never prawned before, doesn't appeal to me cos I thought its gonna be boring ...

It turns out I had loads of fun! Aybin my shifu leh! I manage to catch like 4 or 5 prawns. Not bad for a first-timer right?! But it was quite epic for me cos, when I fish up the prawns I was afraid it will swing into my face so I kept screaming SAVE ME SAVE ME!

Not all prawns are prawned by us. Our total catch was around 10? The rest was given by a kind soul. He even caught a lobster wor!

Pretty much shagged! It was already like midnight.

& we finished the prawns. I don't exactly like prawns, I'm allergic to them. But for some reasons, self-caught prawns tastes better than any other prawns. Haha~!

The supposedly last celebration on the 16 - 17 Oct. A weird one. Why weird?

Met up with Rena after work at Airport for dinner, she says alot of half-stories. All the I-don't-quite-understand-stories about celebrating my birthday. Moral of the story which I understood was everything was cancelled. So oh wells, I wasn't disappointed because I kinda know its hard to coordinate everyone's timing. I'm understanding okay? HAHA.

& then on the way back, she had a full bladder, urgently need the loo. It was true so I said go my house pee first lah. Didn't really suspect anything until Yingduan & Xuan popped out at my void deck. Haha. So whatever the half-stories are are only half-true. So I was confused for nothing?

& so, I turned 20 already! Omg! No longer a teen anymore :/

Then the actual last one occurs yesterday! Went Buffet with Peilin & Ivan. I went to get desserts, then I came back this GOH PEILIN SCREAMED AT ME! I didn't know whats going on?!!! Then it dawned upon me that they're lighting the cake,. I didn't realize until she scream can?! Scared me loh! WTS HAHA.

Yea so this marks the end of my celebrations I guess?

I'm really happy & grateful you were all there with me for my birthday. Even without the celebrations, I will still be equally happy with all of you by my side. You're the greatest gifts that I can ever have. Cross my heart & swear. <333

& last but not least, 'daddy' you're the best, always the best. Thank you again! (:

Ending of with a photo of my presents. I wrote on FB & Twitter saying you can give me chicken essence or bird's nest. I really received those, I received berry & prune essence too. 2 wallets also, I think my friends knows I'm a careless goose that always lost my wallet :/

Family?

When I was young, I used to think that the word ‘Family’ only meant the people living under the same roof as me. As I grow older, I began to realize that ‘Family ‘also includes relatives such as aunts, uncles and cousins, as for distant-relatives, not very much the case. People often say that blood is thicker than water. No matter what happens, those that will stay by your side & support you all the way would be your family. But does it include the relatives? Does it include your aunt, uncles & cousins? All of them? Or maybe perhaps, friends are actually much better than these people?

I’m not sure why but I thought of this topic quite a lot recently.

During the re-take of my O’levels, it was my darkest period. Future seems bleak. But at that point of time, I could see clearly who are the family that truly cared and who are those that gloat over your misfortune and make sarcastic remarks. It was my fault that I didn’t study hard enough, but as family, why are you rubbing salt on to my wound? I’m not picking on anyone, just honestly speaking of how I felt and what I see back then.

Presently, certain events had made me see through some family (not naming anyone here). Those hypocritical ones, shameless ones, sarcastic ones & materialistic ones, its just such a pity that there will always be such black sheeps around. It made me feel that sometimes, friends are much better that those family or relatives that fall under the categories mentioned. They don’t judge whether I’m pretty or ugly, they don’t care whether I’m rich or poor, they don’t mind whether I’m stupid or clever, they treasure me as their friend and will always there for me.

But of course at the end of the day there will still be family that are still worth cherishing.

As for those black sheeps. Just fuck your own life (:

Today's the last of Sem break. Tomorrow's the official of last Semester.

This sem break has been really different from the previous ones I had. During sem breaks, I usually bum around at home, hang out with friends few times a week, buffet, picnic, shopping etc etc. Cos I thought that every semester is like a battle, so at the end of it I deserve a good rest. Whats better way is there than bumming around right? But this sem, surprisingly, I found myself deciding not to bum myself. Except for the first 2 weeks of the break, I bum around & then flew off to Taiwan. Shortly after I'm back, I started working. If not for my previous agent Alvin who contacted me asking if I want to work part-time, I probably would have just bummed around. But at the end of the day, I like to eat, shop, hang out and these needs money. So I need to find a way to generate cash.

So, first assignment was to help out at the World Food Fair 2011, Sherbet Sampling.

To be really honest, it wasn't a difficult task, along the way you meet nasty & weird people but working at food fair with 4 other helpers was fun. And for a special reason, Food Fair was unforgettable. Subsequently after food fair, I continued the sampling job at 7-eleven, and also distributing free Sherbet at the mediacorp event of George Young's Autograph session ^^

Other than Magnolia, I was the promoter for Johnson & Johnson at Century Square & Thompson Plaza NTUC Finest. Nothing Interesting, pretty boring actually. But I met celebrities like Qi Yu Wu & Joanne Peh at Thompson. Qi Yu Wu, always charming to me & Joanne Peh looking ridiculously tall! If you think I'm tall, you should go look at her. She's what I call TALL!

Then I was suppose to be doing for Brands Birdnest, called off last minute. In the end took part in the Health Promotion Board's photo taking for Healthy Living.

If you're wondering what kind of Photos, here goes...

The photo booth is at Compass Point, I work with 2 others each day. Mainly, Kyler, Kah Hou & Jang Yong. There's a big screen & camera, you take photos using them. Mostly, its the kids that took the photos. Its FOC & instant print. So you, many people would want to come for it. Along the way, you wouls see aunties, grandpas, grandmas, KFC, Mac, Yoshinoya, Bee Cheng Hiang workers woming over to take photos. Even securities & cleaners does too. Some even specially change to take a photo. Exaggerating?

Its fun this job, not until you have to face kids throwing tantrums while taking pictures. Crying & shrieking at the top of their voices when parents force them to take, or being stubborn refusing to listen to instructions. You know, I dislike children. I'll talk about this someday. Its agony, having to work with kids. But at the end of the day, I still had my share fun with the rest (:

So overall, it was all an experience, not that i enjoyed it very much, but it made another chapter in my life. & of course, the best part is, I made new friends. Its also them that makes work bearable & sometimes enjoyable for me (:

Now that all of this is all over, I'm closing another chapter in my life. And tomorrow, is the opening of a brand new chapter. & some memories, should also be left behind, never looking back.

New Semester Resolutions

Okay, I've seen my timetable for the upcoming new & not forgetting LAST semester.

Well.. good news is that I don't have any 8am lessons which I have trouble waking up for and neither do I have any of those 9am classes which I have difficulty catching the bus for. Yay! I only have 10ams and 12noons. One of the tutorials actually falls during lunch. So what? I bring lunch to class now? Pfft -.-

Next sem modules, totally unappealing. Biz process, Quality Management, International HR, Com & Ben, Changing Diversity, INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS: that sucked and 2 elective modules which I've yet to sign up for. Managing those core modules is already a handful and the school has to make us take extra electives. We're humans you know?

Every new semesters, I have resolutions. The same old one I always say before every semester begins is that I'll be 100% attentive in lectures & tutorials and every semester I don't. I either dream away, or doze off. So this sem I'm not gonna say I'll be 100% attentive. I'll say I'll try to pay as much attention as possible. Does that sounds better? And since its the last semester already, I decided to dress better? Last sem I think I dressed abit too anyhow? I was too shagged okay. So this sem I'll make an effort to dress better okay? But I'm not abandoning my shorts & slippers yet. But it'll be better, I promise (:

If you're wondering who's the extra guy on the left. Thats Klaus. New antagonist of the show but as I watched I'm starting to find him charming. Especially those dimples and the English accent.

Obviously my long-awaited Season 3 has finally released! Episode 4 already. For those who watched, its getting really complicated isn't it? Lots and lots of secrets & mysteries to uncover. That absolutely explains the reason why I'm so dying to finish watching the entire season & know whats gonna happen! Its really unbearable for me to have to wait week by week for each episode to release. Omg! Can't that just release everything at one go?! I'm so addicted & obsessed that I kept re-watching episodes of past seasons. Its driving me towards insanity! But luckily! I found something to distract myself. :D

I figured that by watching another awesome show would be able to keep my Salvatore addiction under control, distract myself. I was deciding between Glee & Gossip Girl. I decided to head for Gossip Girl first. Yea, the xoxo and stuff. It has more seasons released already, better to keep me entertained. So I started on it today. &yes, it is effective in keeping my mind away from the Salvatores. (: Besides Gossip Girl has hot guys too you know, Ed Westwick and all. Charming man. Yup, I'm pretty much entertained and distracted. (:

Was off from work the entire of last week. When I work I feel not good, bored and stuff. When I don't work. I feel weird. Contradicting much? Anyway, scheduled for work this Friday, so won't be weird for long. Its holidays and I'm working, I hope I won't regret it & feel not re-charged enough when school reopens in 3 weeks time. 3 weeks time, fun's over, back to reality, back to campus. Not cool. -.-

Friendships

I was bored. So I went to look up photos over the years. Not of myself this time, but those with my friends. Mainly my secondary school friends & poly ones. As I look through files and folders of photos I realized that there are a minority whom I was once close and great friends with but now we either seldom talk or don’t talk & contact at all. I looked at them and thought about the reason why we drew further away from each other. I then look through my FB and out of my 254 friends, I guess less than ¼ is truly friends with me. I rummage through some of their profiles. Probably, you reading this post now is one of the profiles I scanned through.

Thoughts start running into my mind. I start to think about those that drew away. Some, perhaps distance? No longer in the same school, so drifted apart. Some I initiate the drift, I automatically stayed away from them myself. Because I felt that those are the extremely selfish ones who are so extremely self-centred, though verbally said that you’re her/his friend but he/she doesn’t treat you as one, and pisses you off with their behavior. I hate such people, those absolutely does not fall under my friends’ list. You wanna be so selfish, then you don’t deserve my friendship. I have friends way more awesome than you (:

Then there is this kind that, something happened between us, so deleted my msn, twitter, FB, stop reading my blog etc etc, then don’t know why, probably screwed up mind, decided to add me back again, thinking that I don’t know you did all those loser acts, but I DID. I just chose to keep quiet about it. I treated you as a friend no matter what had happened & understand a cooling off period was needed, but with those ungenerous acts of yours, you chose to throw away our friendship, then we’re done. Doesn’t help even if you turn back to pick it back again. I don’t need your friendship and neither do you DESERVE MINE. Just get lost & screw yourself (:

I guess those are the main reasons why I lost friends along the way. But doesn’t matter, they are the ones whom I’ll do much better without. People come and people go anyway. I’m glad those that were gone, were those insignificant ones and those that stayed, I treasured them above anything else (:

Then I moved on to photos that I treasured the most. Existing friends that I’m still close with from my secondary school days up till today. And of course not forgetting my newfound friends in Poly. Friends I made in NYP, are the greatest gifts I’ve ever had. Through you guys, I learnt a lot, I grew up, I became more mature. With you guys around, no matter how tough school gets, I still have the courage to move on bravely, because I know you’ll all be there with me, I’m not alone (:

Omg! Omg! Omg!

I totally have to blog this!

Was called down for work at Cineleisure for an event, 1 hour only. Main task is to distribute Magnolia's new Sherbet Ice-cream. In case you don't know, I've been working as a promoter for Magnolia's Sherbet for quite sometime already. Okay, skipped this part. Yes the event. Its actually I think a 8-days Magazine event. This morning received an sms saying that George Young, Host of Million Dollar Money Drop will be there for autograph session. OH MY GOODNESS! Means I can work and at the same time look at that hunk!

Amongst the crowd you see 2 kinds of people. First one not here for freebies, but for George Young. You see all the crazy girls, screaming away, hugging him, taking photos with him, requesting him to dance, asking him to SIGN ON THEIR IPHONE, hands, shirt everywhere. George on the other hand is extremely friendly and nice, he did all that was requested. I must say, he's really sexy when he starts dancing & ultra cute when he smiles. OMG!

Second kind of people are those sad to say, I really dislike. Here just for the freebies. Kept asking for more ice cream, queue up rounds after rounds, there's an aunty, approached us with a plastic bag, expecting us to dump a few cups inside. We dumped 3 but she said not enough. Then mothers getting their kids to keep coming back for more, uncles and aunties cook up excuses to get more. I don't like to say this. But, I just find them thick-skinned, shameless, buay paiseh & embarrassing. -.-

September Babies

September is usually the busiest Birthday Month among all my friends. I think I have like 4 friends born in September. But this year, I only did celebrations for 2. Stella's enjoying herself in Paris now, & I'm scheduled for work on Sam's celebration so... =x

So one of the 2 that we celebrated for is firstly my BFF :D

I said that cakes this year shall all be non-chocolate, but due to special requests from Birthday girl, I gave in.

So! This is our present for her. You must be wondering whats that big thing in the Giant plastic bag right?

Dear ah lim says she would like electronic appliances such as hand-vacuum, hair dryer, steamer etc etc. And us, also don't know what should we buy, we decided to buy one of the above mentioned. Our initial plan was to buy a hair dryer that can blow both hot & cool air. So yingduan & I set off to hunt for it. From Courts to Giant. Hunting for this hair dryer is no easy task. At courts, I shamelessly requested to test out all the hair dryers displayed. I ended up buying none as they were not suitable and I wonder if the salesperson is pissed with me? =x

So we're thinking about the hand-vacuum. Not sure which one to get, so we headed to giant to seek further options. Then we saw the steamer on sale! Steamer as in not those that steam buns or so, is those appliance that boutique used to iron their apparels. You know, our ah lim here like convenience. We think that the steamer looks not bad, so we decided to get. Even though its heavy & absolutely bulky. We'd sure our share of epic and ridiculous moments on our way bag with this big thing. I shall not share, its too embarrassing. Whats worst, we bumped into an ex-classmate of mine whose name I shall not mentioned. He's just one disgusting and gross fella. Eww..

Last year was really hectic for due to the multiple September Babies. This year seemed more relaxed. One thing for sure, I like planning birthdays though (:

September is coming to an end. Its been quite a I don't know? Fruitful month? I've been working. Its boring sometimes, but I like the feeling that I'm spending money they I earned myself, so I can spend freely without any worries and such. Work is boring but can be interesting in certain situations. Work also brought me new found friendship. So I guess its not that bad afterall. I'm looking on the bright side.

Except the fact that, work led me to meet an unexpected person. Which I wished, I've never met...

Approaching the last

I got my results few days back…

I guess this semester’s results had been the best so far. I’m pretty pleased and satisfied with my grades. And our Entrepreneurship got a B. I guess I should be glad, couldn’t have asked for anything more. I’m just glad we made through, cleared it. For the past few sems, after the exams I will brood over the papers throughout the holidays until the day I get my results, seeing I cleared everything then I heaved a sigh of relief. This sem, I cared less. Things still turn out pretty well eventually. I guess, thinking lesser, brooding lesser ain’t that bad after all.

Year 3 sem 1 had been a really busy semester. Especially with Entrepreneurship around, 3 consecutive sems of no vacations and I know, Sem 2 would not be any better. I’m really glad that we’re having 10 weeks break so as to be re-charged for the last semester. Looking back I can’t believe that in like a few months time I’ll complete my diploma studies and get ready for graduation. All of these seemed like a dream. 3 years back when I was re-taking my Os, I was so unsure of my future, everything seems bleak. Few months back, I could only watch friends my age graduating and me still another year to go. I was sulking abit. But now, look at me, I’m heading towards the finishing line. I can honestly tell you its been an awesome 2.5 years in NYP and I know its gonna get better. In between came many ups and downs, happy and unhappy moments but I manage to make it through.

& so we're told that we're going sight-seeing in another countryside and its gonna be a long journey. So as usual, I slept my way through in the coach. (:

So we went up the bus to realize a moth went up too. You know, I HATE INSECTS X1000
Especially those that fly. Jas tried to get rid of that irritation minion and I am so afraid that it'll flew right into my face, I screamed non-stop, making a spectacle of myself.

Not funny guys. Whatever happens in Taiwan stays in Taiwan. Lets not bring this up anymore yep? (:

We're actually late for the check in. So we rushed like mad into the plane after the customs. Didn't get to shop at Duty Free :(

To sum up the whole trip, it was really awesome! I really had fun for that 5 days, best days of this Sem break. If there were ever a chance, I'll really like to travel with you guys again! :D

Okays, I'm feeling kinda lazy but Imma still blog!

Taiwan Day 3: DKSH, Amway & Ximending!

Early in the morning. Wo de ma, company visit. Had to sat down in their meetying to listen to their intro and tour the company. So boring lahhs. Not posting pictures lah. Then proceeded to lunch.

As usual, same old dishes in big servings. We pigs?

After lunch, we visited another company called Amway. Which I think is the most posh one of all. I like it best cos....

They serve better drinks! :D

As usual I did not pay attention to what they said, we're chatting among ourselves. If not, I'm building sandcastles in the air.

So bored to tour the company. Of course camwhore loh.

It was really too boring... so we decided to leave the crowd and be on our on. So we....

Okay lahh... enough of crap, we make our way back to join the rest of our tour mates.

We usually take very little for dinner so as to save space for food at night market later. But tour guide says, we cannot waste food we should eat more. So we have no choice but to cheat. I guess from the above 2 photos, you know what we're doing?

That night... we decided to train back instead of cabbing. 10 over stops from Ximen to our hotel at Danshui.

Day 4: Another company, Chihlee Institute of Technology & Shilin again!

Early morning. Another boring company visit. This company holds its presentation in their super comfy auditorium which is also abit cinematic. Lao niang simply fell asleep. So did the rest lor.

It just doesn't interests me -.-

After eating the same thing over and over for the past 3 days. We're really sick of it. So team leader requested to teacher if we can have a change of menu for lunch. For instance, Dim Sum. And, they agreed!

So... we're going to Din Tai Fung! Ever heard that Taiwan's Din Tai Fung is way better than SG's?

And so its true! THE XLB! The filling and soup inside the XLB is like so rich and so is the aroma. XLB lovers should really try.

Something that cannot be found in SG's DTF. 豆沙小包

Dishes served were, 5 baskets of XLB, 1 basket each of veg dumpling, prawn & meat dumplings, fish dumplings, egg fried rice, stir-fry veg, cucumbers, sour-spicy soup and red bean bao. Best meal ever in Taipei!

Hihihihi!!!! I'm almost done with sorting out the photos on FB into my com. None of them were taken my me of course. Me did not bring camera since there were already 4 people bringing in our clique. So yes! I shall kope from them!! I'm so ready to share some of the photos with you! Are you excited to view them? Yes? Okay... lets start NOW!

Day 1: Airport, Taipei 101 & Shilin Nightmarket

We're here waiting to board the plane! So we shopped DFS and other shops first. I like all the shops in airport!

Guess he's prolly not very pleased with the fact that he has to hold on to the school banner for 5 whole days! =X

WE BOARDED! Took SIA by the way! And and and! We have this really chio flight attendant serving us!

We were suppose to land at 6.15 but due to technical problems, plane needs to be check by ground engineer so delayed take off time and landing time loh! When taking off, there was a really strong petrol smell. I thought my plane goner liao. But still, thank god we landed safely!

Air turbulence was really strong that day. Totally can't sleep at all man!

Breakfast! Breakfast was served around 5am? I took several flights. Scandanavia, China air, HK one I forgot, I still think SIA serves the best food and of course service! SIA girls are not exceptionally chio. Not all are chio, but they have awesome flawless complexion!

Finally in TAIPEI! Shagged max! I believe you can tell from our faces?

Alrights, there's a story to tell here. It was an unfortunate event. Aaron was having a fever before boarding. All of us thought that it was normal fever & so did his doctor thus, we thought nothing much of it. At Taiwan's Taoyuan Airport custom, he was detected to have fever and was sent for blood test straight away.

I don't think its anything interesting. Their shopping centre is like Ion?

Jasmine always hyper & cheerful! Wonder where she got all that energy. As for me, you can tell. I'm already dead beside her! HAHA.

Lunch was included in tour package and I think the portions are too much! Its like feeding pigs! Oops!

We ate almost same dishes everyday ...

Done with lunch we headed back to hotel for wash up & a good rest till dinner.

It was through this trip, I realise Jas was a fantastic gymnast!

Dinner was much tastier than lunch. It was at some seafood restaurant but food more or less similar.

After dinner. Coach drove us back to hotel. And we! Cabbed over to Shilin Nightmarket!

Know what? I love SHILIN! MANY MANY MANY

The clothes, the shoes the food, super cheap and nice! It is something similar to bugis street. But 10 times bigger! 10 times better! I think their clothes quality are better!

Wind was super duper strong that night. We kept wondering if this is normal in Taipei? Or is a typhoon approaching. That was slight drizzle as and when too.

Not many photos taken. Busy shopping besides. We spent only 2 hours. Did not cover whole of Shilin on day 1.

On the first day. Jas, Aaron and I got ourselves lost. Aaron wasn't feeling very well, so wanted to head back to hotel first, me need to pee badly and there is no toilet at Shilin, so we head back to hotel first. But taxi driver drove us to wrong place. He mistook out hotel name. And we forgot to blame hotel name card. Teacher & tour guide no pick up phone when we called. It was until we called Lynn she gave us address, we told driver, he finally understood. But he was pissed with us not making ourselves clear. Scold & nagged along the journey. He drove to some ulu ulu roads we don't recognise. Was quite scary. Road was super bumpy, almost pee-ed out. Taiwan drivers speed, literally speed and dashed across red light. We took around 1.5 hours to get back when its suppose to be only 30 mins. Prolly toured while of Taipei that night. Driver was eventually kind enough to waive any extra charges. There. Lesson learnt. Bring out hotel name card next time in foreign country. Most importantly, we made it back safely.

All of us damned shagged.

I couldn't sleep that night, probably not used to the bed. =x

Typhoon did visit us when we were sleeping and passed Taiwan by morning. Thus, our journey continues.

Day 2: DB Schenker, Techological University & Wufenpu

Its a school trip and no doubt, there will be company visits. Its all warehouses companies. More for SCM students. Not us HR. We HR go there mainly to play and shop. As for these talks and visits, I either dozing of or dream away ....

Day 2's itenary was to visit Wufenpu, the biggest fashion wholesale of Taipei. You have to buy in bulk I heard. When we arrived, it was a tad disappointing cos the clothes don't exactly suit us. After asking around, we were told that Raohe night market was actually nearby, walking distance. It was suppose to be for Day 4 itenary, but we just head over.

I can't find any pictures of us in Raohe seems like we didn't really took any. Too busy shopping luh!

Till here, Aaron's blood tests results were out. He was diagnosed with dengue fever and had to be quarantined and sent back early. Sadly, he was unable to continue the trip with us. Its really a pity and we're all really upset about it. It feels really weird to be left with only us 6. Still, whats more important is for him to recover. (:

Okays, I shall do the post up till here for now. I'll continue sorting out photos for Day 3 to 5 and update real real soon. Stay tuned !

I'm back from Taiwan already! 2 days ago. But was too shagged from the flight to blog, and yesterday was busy unpacking. Thus, I only blogged till today. Not gonna blog the full trip yet, photos not ready at the moment. But I can honestly tell you I seriously enjoyed that 5 days. We shopped, ate, joked, got lost and many more stories to tell. Its really a shopping paradise over there in Taipei. I really enjoyed shopping the night markets. I really wished to go back again! Right now, though I'm physically back in Singapore, my soul is still partially in Taipei.

A post before I leave for Taiwan. I'm leaving for school's Taipei Immersion trip in a few days time. My flight is 1.30am on the 28th of August, Sunday. So I'll probably be at the airport on Saturday night. Its been a long time since I went on a holiday. After 3 consecutive semesters without holidays, I guess its time for a well-deserve break. Will come back with many many photos to upload eh! :D

OMG! I'm like done with Year 3 Sem 1?!!! I finally have holidays after 3 semesters!

I say.... can you believe it??? Its holiday already!!!! :D

Okay, Imma share some of my post-exam programmes! :D

Time do flies, I'm left with only another semester. Its been an awesome 2.5 years and 5 semesters in NYP, cross my heart and swear. I used to think secondary school was most fun, but I guess things are no longer the same since Poly. I experienced several setbacks, had a great bundle of joy and make the most awesome friends. I felt that all of this had been a blessing. No matter how tough time gets, I'm really happy that my NYP friends be it from year 1, 2 or 3 are here by my side. I hope or perhaps I'm sure, the remaining last semester will be an awesome one too. (:

Millys Clothes Buffet & ED Day

2 weeks ago. I came across bongqiuqiu's blog and read about her entry on Millys Clothes Buffet at Bugis. So, I sms-ed BFF and we decided to go together. If you're wondering whats clothes buffet. It goes like this, you go to the show, pay an amount of money, they give you a standard size plastic bag and there you go into the shoppong grabbing whatever clothes you can grab in a limited time of 20 minutes.

This is the size of the plastic bag. You must be wondering how to stuff so many clothes right? Well, we managed to anyway.

When we first reached there there was a super long queue of people. Queueing for the plastic bag. After you obtain the bag, then you have to queue for your turn to enter the shop. We queue like approx. 1.5 hours?

Its like to boring to queue and our legs are tired so we stood down to camwhore.

Before entering the store, we went to peep at those who have entered, they were grabbing like mad. I think so were we. LOL. At the end of the whole session. I grabbed 4 pieces. 2 were dresses, 1 maxi and 1 cardigan. Rena grabbed more I think. 4 pieces of 35$. Worth? I'm not pretty sure myself. But it was quite an experience. One thing we found a pity was, we did not enter the round where they just freshly re-stocked the goods. So yea... :(

We're like finally done with ENTREPRENEURSHIP!!!!

Yesterday was the finally long awaited ED DAY, the final lap of this module.

Met up early with group mates for a hearty breakfast before heading for the final battle!

Changed into formal wear & proceeded to waiting room to wait for our turn. Nervous max!

Yah... I do stupid things when I'm nervous. After like, half hour of waiting. We went in.

This is when everything has finally come to an end. Its like a big stone off our hearts, finally in the mood to camwhore.

I'm really glad that Entrepreneurship has finally come to an end. Its been 16 weeks of hell. I could still remember the unbearable period of week 1 to 3 where all our ideas were rejected. But the worst has been over now. No matter how we fared, I'm glad we made it through together for the past 16 weeks. We had our share of agony, depressing moments, fun & laughter, Chatting away on random topics during tutorial instead of focusing, pushing each other to do the oh-so-difficult financials and coming up with excuses to not present on ED DAY. But its all over now & I'm glad its over. Through these 16 weeks of working closely together, I gained new found friendship from all of you. I get to know each and every one of you better and you were all really fun people. The group that I didn't had faith initially are now my favourite peeps in class. We're even going Taiwan together! I'm really looking forward! Thank you all for the 16 weeks of effort and crap. I'm glad to be in the same team as you.

Hihi. I've been ultra busy lately. Like super busy! Year 1, a lecturer told us, its gonna get heavier & heavier after every sem. How perfectly true. This semester is really really busy. Really really stressful. I'm like going bonkers. With the multiple projects, its really killing me. But but. Luckily I only have 3 papers for sem exam. So not so bad still. I just can't wait to get over & done with for all the projects.

Speaking of all the projects. I've rant about Entrepreneurship here previously. That period of time was the most difficult. Proposals rejected, ideas rejected, everything rejected. But now, almost everything's done & just waiting for ED Day to arrive & present to those judges. Having come this far, something I'll to say is that, thanks to my team mates, Aaron, Vanessa, Jinhao & Huimin. To be honest, I did not have much faith in all of us, including myself. I did not think that we're gonna make it. But right now, after all of the tough times we went through together, I'm glad you were all here by my side. I'm glad to have all of you as my team mates. I do not know what the outcome will be like on ED Day. I don't know will the judges like our concept. I don't know how we'll be graded. But, I know we have done & given our very best. No matter what the results will be, I'm glad we're all in this together.

This semester is really tough for me. And I know, things are not gonna get any better next sem. The projects are tough, there are people who tend to don't cooperate. It gets really depressing time to time. I get demoralized every now & then. But sometimes, I'm still glad that I have friends going through these with me, and us supporting each other. (:

I will still move on bravely.

Oh yes! Something happy to talk about! I'm going for school's Taiwan Immersion Trip!

Terribly stressed at the moment. Thus decided to blog.

Okay, we had a belated celebration last Friday for Pinxuan. Its the first time celebrating her birthday, previously, we did not celebrate because, June ma, proj period. Now that they have all graduated, most of us no have projects except me sadly, time is more flexible.... or not?

So, we decided to head to Downtown's e-hub for Wii & Kinect since Rena gotten special price coupons from Groupon.sg, its only 5$ an hour with free flow of food. For additional hour, 10$ extra for a room. So 5 of us means 2$ each luh.We wasn't suppose to let Xuan knows we're celebrating her birthday but I.... lets not talk about that hehehehe (:

Its my first time playing Wii & Kinect... not very pro at it =x

It is actually very retarded. Especially for games that you have to move together. 4 People moving their hands identically with a remote control. Retarded much? Thats Pinxuan's boyf by the way, we had 5 tix, Jo wasn't able to make it so we asked if he wanted to join, he say okay! Kudos~

Jo was not with us at the e-hub but she's meeting us after her work for the surprise cake cutting session. So we need to drag time since she will be late. Hence, we went bowling. I sucked at it also. I.... nevermind ~ :(

The Handburger

About 2 weeks ago, which was still during my term break. I asked BFF Ms Lim out for dinner. Cos I wanna try The Handburger. I heard and read many reviews about how fantastic their burgers are and how slurperlicious their milkshakes tasted. So I'm pretty tempted to try...

So off we went to 313 Somerset for a burger feast (:

Okay, this is my burger. The Handburger Original. Its lettuce, beef patty and cheese.

This is Ms Lim's Chicken Caesar Burger. You can see luh, chicken, lettuce, mayo & mushrooms.

Every burger comes with a side dish of either fries, soup or salad. I heard that Handburger is actually under the Soup Spoon. I guess it all makes sense since their soup tastes exactly those served in Soup Spoon's. FYI, you're suppose to eat the burgers with the fork & knife and not with your hands.

They serve us drinks too. Plain water. But they're well know for their milkshakes, so of course we MUST try right?! :D

This is my Nutella Marshmallow Milkshake.

Ah Lim's Oreo Marshmallow. She says it tastes like chocolate. Mine of course tastes like Nutella luh.

Its my first time eating burgers not using my hand. We took a long time to figure out how to eat the burger. In the end we separate the meat the bread and everything, cut and eat separately. Thats how the rest of the people in the restaurant eats also. I think we spent a little too much time figuring what to do with the burger and it turned cold inside. So the meat was abit hard la. Sadly enough, Ms Lim found hair in her burger. Thus, got the waitress to waive off her burger. Overall, I think its not a bad experience. I do like the milkshakes though. The burger, not bad la if its not eaten cold I believe. But I wouldn't eat it often cos the meat inside was a velly velly big portion. Too much of it might make one feel sick. Yep.~

Years Back

I found this on my second aunt's FB. Its her display photo. I think it was taken when I was Primary 3. Which means around the millennium, Year 2000 CNY. When my grandfather was still around. I guess this was the last full Family Portrait we had with him. At that time, none of us had any boyf of girlf yet. Or maybe have but did not bring back. But this was the original size of the family.

It brings back several several memories. When grandad was around, we go to his house pretty often on several several occassions. Be it, prayers, CNY, Dragon boat festive or Mid-Autumn festive. It was a absolute MUST for for everyone to be present. That was the family tradition & regulation set my grandfather. I miss those times pretty much. We were young back then. Joey, Lester, Sinyee & I often run up and down the house together. I remembered there was once we're running in aunt's room, Joey purposely off the lights causing Sinyee to fell & had a big bump on her head. The brothers were the most mischevious back then. (:

& oh ya, the once I circled is Joey la, I cannot stand him sia. Every family photo he will do something stupid to his face. LOL.

We celebrated their birthdays 2 weeks ago. I still remember the first time we celebrated it was 1 year ago, in KL, during EMRS outfield trip. Time flies, one year has flow by. EMRS has since passed one year. No doubt, I still missed those times pretty much. I guess, those are really wonderful memories I'll never be able to forget. (:

We forgot to take a group photo. But the group wasn't complete without Kaixian's presence. He was too lazy to get out of the house. Kns right? Its okay, we took turns to blast at him through the phone.:D

Do you like the cake? Its from Icing Room. I'm starting to fall in love with cakes from Icing Room cos they're all so pretty and tastes not bad also. I also made it point that from now onwards, as far as I'm concern with the birthday preps, I'm not gonna buy chocolate cake for birthday cakes. It'll be either fruit cakes or any other flavour. No particular reason why I'm doing that its just that, every year and everyone's cake also chocolate. Like so boring right? So, I'm trying something new. My plan is progressing smoothly. Jaslyn's birthday was Strawberry cheesecake, then this one is mixed fruit cake. Nice lehhhh! Me likes! But leh, dear BFF Ms Lim says can she be the exception cos she likes chocolate. After much consideration, ehh I decided to accede to her request. See that Rena? You're getting chocolate for your birthday. Boring as can be, but you like it so okay lor. But I have other plans. It may not be the usual kind of cake though. Maybe or maybe not. (:

I still miss Vampire Diaries pretty much. I really can't wait for September to arrive where Season 3 will be aired. I'm counting down!

Anyway... another Vampiric affair, Part 1 of Breaking Dawn's Trailer. If you haven't seen it ...

The part where Edward & Bella gets married. Jacob gets outrageously mad, then Bella get pregnant. First few seconds only Jacob starts taking off his shirt. Seriously?! Okay lah, ya lah, he has awesome biceps. But wth? Bella's hair like so tussled at the wedding. Kristen Stewart really ain't pretty at all. Not at all =x

You know, Edward's full name is Edward Anthony Masen Cullen? That is damn freaking long lah. I think I prefer names like Stefan Salvatore or maybe Damon Salvatore. Heez.^^
